Dorset Youth League Under-11s cup final
Weymouth Cougars 3 Bridport Centaur 3 (aet)
(Cougars won 7-6 on penalties)
Cougars keeper Luke Braund forgot his boots but he didn't leave his shot stopping skills at home when his side captured the Dorset knockout cup.
Braund and his Centaur counterpart Patrick Campbell were called on to provide the heroics at the end of a final which provided a feast of attacking football.
But Braund - who had to make a quick dash home to retrieve his footwear after turning up at a team rendezvous bootless - made the decisive save when the competition had advanced to the sudden death stage.
Earlier his Cougars side had dominated the early stages going into a 2-0 lead through Nathan Walmsley and Sean Stewart before Daniel Jones pulled one back for the Bridport side.
Walmsley restored the two-goal advantage before Jones volleyed home to make it 3-2 at half-time.
Dominic McAllister brought the sides level in the second-half to set up a tense extra-time period before the penalty decider.
